Please be praying.....
Please be praying for this little guy, Stellan. He is in heart surgey as we speak and he needs your prayers. The type of surgey he is doing is very risky but must be done to save his little heart. You can also be praying for his mom, Jennifer who is very anxious right now. I can't even imagine.

Karsten's Oak Glen Field Trip
Today I went with Karsten's class to Oak Glen to visit an Apple Farm. The kids had a lot of fun learning about all different things. I even learned a lot about pigs, chickens, bees, honey, apple cider, and more. This is Karsten's friend Jayden that got to ride with us up to Oak Glen. He was a really sweet boy and I'm glad he and Karsten are friends. This is Karsten's friend Morgan. She is so precious and sweet. Her mommy and I were pregnant with Karsten and Morgan at the same time and it is nice to see them grow up together. Morgan's older brothers went to the same preschool when Addisyn was there. We all got to try some really yummy stuff like: apple butter, pumpkin butter, honey, jelly. It was all made fresh on the farm and really tasty. Here is a picture of Karsten reaching in for apples to put in the press to make Apple Cider. Karsten and Morgan got to throw the apples in the press while Sarah (Morgan's mommy) turned the wheel to press the apples. I got to watch and take pictures. After the farm we all headed down the street to a park to have the fresh pressed apple cider and a snack. Here is Karsten on the teeter totter.

H1N1... just stating some facts.....
I found this information today and decided to pass it on.
The H1N1 vaccine contains two ingredients you should know about:
1 – Squalene. This chemical is a neurotoxin that was used in vaccines during the first Gulf War and gave 25% of American soldiers Gulf War Syndrome ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_War_syndrome ) when they were vaccinated. The courts banned it’s use by the Pentagon but the H1N1 vaccine contains a dose one million times larger than that given to the soldiers. That’s not an exaggeration, that’s the actual dose.

2 – Mercury - One of the most toxic substances known to man. You’re not supposed to even handle mercury, let alone ingest it, let alone inject it. Mercury is a heavy metal that collects in the body and makes you go mad, which is the reason we have the phrase mad hatters. Hatters handled mercury.
There are a number of stories published about this but this is a reputable site with a detailed list of reference links at the end:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=14851
This article has a quote from the vaccine maker confirming the mercury content
http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/122228
In addition, the World Health Organization in the UK has warned the vaccine is unsafe:
http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23724398-details/Vaccine+for+swine+flu+may+be+unsafe+warns+WHO/article.do
You may notice that none of these stories come from the US where we’re being encouraged to get the vaccine..... INTERESTING!

This family needs our prayers!!!!!!!!
Please pray for this little precious girl Kate. You can read her story at the following site. I can't even imagine how this family feels right now. One day they lived a "normal" life then it all went down hill so quick. Thanks for lifting this family up.

Some thoughts.....
So as I was sitting on the couch with the kids this morning I started thinking about how I thought our "family" life would be before we got married and before we had kids. I thought I had the whole "mom" thing figured out.
Here was my vision then:
1. They would listen the 1st time.
2. They would NEVER talk back.
3. They would eat WHATEVER they were given and never eat MacDonald's.
4. I would stay home with the kids and make homemade jam all day, do crafts, and sew. Well may be not sew but you know be a "Susie homemaker."
5. We would live in a BIG house with a HUGE backyard where our kids could run and enjoy the outdoors all day.
6. I would always be super patient and never yell.
7. The kids would adore and love their siblings ALL the time.
8. Our life will always be peaceful without any bumps in the road.
***********************************************************
Now.... how our life "really" is.....
1. I have to repeat myself many times to get them to listen & sometimes threats are the only thing that works.
2. I feel lucky if they don't have a remark for everything I say.
3. We feed them fast food and preservative filled food WAY more ofter than fruits and veggies. We are working on this area and they have gone without fast food for a couple of weeks now.
4. I work outside of the home, I have NEVER made homemade jam, and we do crafts around holidays.
5. We live in a great house that we love. We do have a backyard with a pool but our kids spend way more time in the house rather than outside.
6. I try to be patient but it goes out the window in the mornings when we are all getting out of the house by 7:45. I forget to be patient and sometimes resort to yelling, "GET IN YOUR CAR SEAT..... NOW!"
7. Our kids get along "pretty good" but they have their "moments" especially the boys with wrestling.... they can't keep off of each other.
8. Our life is definitely not "peaceful" always. God draws us to our knees many times a week and sometimes many times a day.
